WHMCS External IP

RELOCATION NOTICE: This field was relocated from addon module configuration settings (Addons -> [Module Name]) to Setup -> Addon Modules in version 2.6.

This is the IP address that your hosting server server will look for when granting remote access to the MySQL database to allow the data import. Entering that the correct externally facing IP address of your WHMCS server is entered is critical to ensuring that the remote MySQL database will permit a remote connection, which is required to successfully provision the application database.

Note: If you are provisioning applications on the same server as WHMCS, depending on how your server's internal DNS is set up you may need to enter either "localhost" or "127.0.0.1" as the WHMCS IP address, if the external IP address of the server does not appear to be working.
